How do seasons happen?

Seasons come to us regularly. We have probably noticed that it gets warmer in summer or dry season while it get colder in the winter or wet season. However do we know that seasons do happen ?
Seasons happen and change every year. This happens because the earth tilts back and forth as it goes around the sun. During the summer, the earth tilts toward the sun. It makes half of the earth hotter. this condition is what we call summer. During the other half of the year, the earth tilts away from the sun. As a result, it makes that half of the earth cooler. This cool condition is then what we call winter.

The different parts of the world have the same season at different times. In the northern half of the world , winter happens during the months of December, January and February. The regions are such North America and Europe. In the other hand, the southern half of the world have winter during the months of June, July and August. The regions are like South America and Australia. How does this difference happen? The same season happens at different times because the top and bottom halves of the earth tilt away from the sun at different times.

How Does Rain Happen?

Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world. It is also providing suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems. In addition, rain water is also for for hydroelectric power as well as plants and crop irrigation. Rain provides us life. However, how does rain happen?
The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of the water cycle involves the sun heating the Earth's surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate. The water vapor then rises into the Earth's atmosphere. The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow until they are heavy and fall to the earth.
When the doprelts fall to the earth, it is called rain. The rain can be in the form of water or snow. However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is called virga, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

How chocolate is made

Have we wondered how we get chocolate from? Well this time we will enter the amazing world of chocolate so we can understand exactly we are eating.
Chocolate starts a tree called cacao tree. This tree grows in equatorial regions, especially in place such as South America, Africa, and Indonesia. The cacao tree produces a fruit about the size of a small pine apple. In side the fruits are the tree's seeds. They are also known as coco beans.
Next, the beans are fermented for about a week, dried in the sun. After that they are shipped to the chocolate maker. The chocolate maker starts by roasting the beans to bring out the flavour. Different beans from different places have different qualities and flavour. So they are often shorted and blended to produce a distinctive mix.
The next process is winnowing. The roasted beans are winnowed to remove the meat nib of the cacao bean from its shell. Then the nibs are blended. The blended nibs are ground to make it a liquid. The liquid is called chocolate liquor. It tastes bitter.
All seeds contain some amount of fat and cacao beans are not different. However, cacao beans are half fat, which is why the ground nibs from liquid. It is pure bitter chocolate.

Indonesia‘s Economic Growth Anomaly

In the midst of a global economy condition crisis hit Indonesia‘s economic growth, the record showedpositive results. In the second quarter of this year compared with the same period of last year, Indonesia’s economy grew about 6.4 percent. This growth remains still terpust in Java with the growth amounted to 57.5 percent. If the accumulated economic growth of Indonesia, the first half of the year 2012 is better compared to the first half of the year grew about 6.3 percent.

However, Indonesia‘s economic growth is considered anomalous experience.
This is revealed bySalamuddin Daeng, Indonesia‘s economic observer for Global Justice. He reasoned, economic growth is not followed by an increase in welfare of society. Further, at least explain daeng four factors that makeIndonesia experienced an economic anomaly. First, Indonesia‘s economy is driven by many foreign debtwhose value continues to rise. “Indonesia’s debt reached Rp. 2865 trillion. The Government’s foreign debtincreased every year. This debt became the main source of income of the Government and became thedriving force of economic growth of Indonesia, “said Daeng.

Secondly, an increase in Community consumption of allegedly taking part encourage Indonesia‘seconomic growth. Community consumption which increased the price of clothing and food are rising,as well assustained by loan growth especially credit consumption.

Third, Indonesia‘s economic growth is driven byexports of raw materials, such as the results of oil and gas, forests, plantations and mines, resulting in lesscreates added value and jobs. The last factor, Indonesia‘s economic growth fueled by foreign investmentthat makes Indonesia the more natural resources controlled by foreigners.

Meanwhile, A Tony Prasetiantono, the economic Observer from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia‘s economic growth argued, supported by the domestic sector. According to him, the effects of the global crisis through the trading balance deficit and the decline in exports will be felt on the third and fourth quarter of this year. He considers the contribution of exports to GDP is not great.

Similar with that of Mirza Adityaswara, Economist delivered, that a number of economic sectors in the country are growing because low interest rates supported by the. This appears to be from loan growth which reached 26-28 percent at once driven by low fuel prices because it is still subsidized by the Government. It further revealed that Mirza, domestic-oriented sectors experiencing growth is high, such as automotive, manufacturing, transportation, communications and trade. As a result, the growth in domestic-orientedsector resulted in a trade balance deficit trend getting bigger.

According to Tony, greater government spending and rapid growth is also very helpful. As it was, theinflation rate is below 5 percent was quite helpful, though it is no effect, i.e. the value of energy subsidiesthat continue to swell that actually tends to be unsanitary.

Should the death penalty be allowed?
Some people were executed in Indonesia through July 2016. Most death penalty cases involve the execution of drug peddlers although capital punishment can also be applied for treason, espionage, and other crimes. Many for and against reactions came after the execution. Then, should the death penalty be allowed in Indonesia?

Proponents of the death penalty say that it is an important tool for law enforcement, deters crime, and costs less than life imprisonment. They also argue that retribution or "an eye for an eye" honors the victim, helps console grieving families, and ensures that the perpetrators of heinous crimes never have an opportunity to cause future tragedy.

Opponents of capital punishment say that it has no deterrent effect on crime, gives governments’ overlapped power to take human life, and potentially makes social injustices by disproportionately targeting people of color (racist) and people who cannot afford good attorneys (classist). They say lifetime jail sentences are a more appropriate than death.

In conclusion, death penalty will always exist in our society as well as its pros and cons. For the proponents of this action, they think that it will be very effective to deter crime. While for those who are against this policy, they argue that this punishment will potentially make social injustice.

Pros and Cons of Abortion
Do you agree with abortion? When someone asks this to the people, there may be many “yes” and equal number of “no”, voicing their opinion over this. Abortion has always been a debatable subject amongst the masses as people have their own arguments regarding it.

For those who are for, they think that sometimes life can be really harsh on us. In some cases, medical emergencies make a woman resort to this action because there is a possibility to be at risk, if she delivers the child. In some other cases, some of the rape victims can be minors. They won’t be mentally or physically prepared to have the newborn baby. Giving life to such an unwanted child may cause troubles for both mother and the child.

After all, abortion implies denying someone a well-deserved life. Just because the odds are not in our favor, can we deprive someone the chance to live? Besides, having an abortion done also carries the risk of not being able to become pregnant ever again in life. Abortion can also lead to serious health complications or even a death.

Whether you agree or not, abortion will always happen in our society. While for one, having a forced child can be a highly miserable experience, to the other, abortion can be a highly miserable experience.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Internet
The internet is a technology that has revolutionized the entire world. The way that we think, conduct business, communicate, and entertain ourselves, have all changed dramatically because of internet. The web can be accessed easily anywhere and everywhere. It is difficult to imagine our world without the internet, but would it be better? It’s hard to truly break down the effects of the internet on society, but the best way to start is by examining all of the benefits and drawbacks that we know of.

Internet has some advantages for human being. First, internet provides unlimited access to Information. Anything you need to know can be found and learned on the internet. There are millions websites that provide different types of topics. Second, Internet can bridge the culture gap. People can connect to people all over the world because of internet connection. Third, internet gives us a big opportunity to develop business and marketing. The ability to reach wider markets, collect valuable research on potential customers, and conduct business all over the world, has created a virtual business boom in history of mankind.

In spite of having those advantages, internet has also some disadvantages. First, Internet is a potential breeding ground for Illegal activity. Since everyone can access internet easily, illegal activity can also be done more easily through this technology. Second, the world is becoming more dependent to internet. All of our important information such as our medical records, criminal records, educational records, and finance records are very dependent on the security of the sites that they reside on. So if one virus is designed well enough to break through the security, it can shut down the economy. The last, children are vulnerable and exposed by the internet. Pornographic material is the most prominent, and children can very easily stumble upon these types of websites and be exposed to things that they should not be.

In conclusion, internet and its both advantages and disadvantages are now happening in our world. If we use it wisely, we will get so many advantages and vise versa.
